The Largest Cross In The Western Hemisphere

I can't verify the truth of that statement, but that's what the sign says. You gotta hope they're not lying. That would just be wrong. No trip cross country is complete with a "largest something" sighting. Here's our one heading West. It's 190+ feet high.

Even The Panhandle Of Texas Seems Big

There's just something about Texas. If feels big. Even the sky seems bigger. We weren't in Texas very long today. We drove across the panhandle on I-40. But I did manage to get a few good shots out the window. The youngest one was MUCH more pleasant today, so that made the entire journey better. These photos are taken from the passenger window while Rocky was driving. She drives most of the way. Mainly because she doesn't trust my driving. :) But partly because she knows I love taking photos.
