We didn't even make it to Grand Island.We (ok, not Rocky, just me) thought it would be "cool" to say we went from Grand Junction, CO to Grand Island, NE in one day. Our detour in Denver kept us from that lofty goal. :) We pulled into the hotel here in Kearney at 11:00pm Central time (this blog's clock is Pacific.) It was another long day for the kids, but they were troopers.
Tomorrow, we will go from here to Plainfield, Illinois. Julie, be prepared, we're going to be a tired and cranky group of eight!
